Well, it seems our little campaign has had quite an impact. It was mentioned all over the radio in recent weeks and covered in the Auto Trader and in the trade title PR Week.

The online conversation went into overdrive (pardon the pun) over at Netmums.com, which if you haven’t seen it before is a brilliant resource for new and expectant mothers.

The discussion over at Netmums.com is really rather interesting. Some parents will allow their child to be put at risk and travel without a booster seat because their kid’s friends don’t use one regardless of the law or what the numbers say. If you have an opinion and fancy having your say than you can join in the online conversation here.

74% have stopped or plan to stop using a booster seat whilst their child is aged 10 or under

72% didn’t understand when it was permissible to carry a booster seat

75% didn’t know the purpose of booster seats.

The results shocked us so much here at BubbleBum Towers that we got together with Brake, an independent road safety charity to raise awareness around the problem. Together we want all carers to ensure that children are carried safely in a booster seat until they are over 150cm tall, in line with EU regulations.

So if you planning on a road trip with the little ones this summer then make sure to have your BubbleBum booster seat to hand and make sure to stay safe on the roads.

I have had the most exciting weekend ever! On Saturday night I was on the RTE Saturday Night Show, filmed live. Peter Andre was also on the show. Have you ever wondered what he is like? Does he look as good in the flesh? Is he genuine? Well let me answer all your questions right now.

I gave him two BubbleBums for Princess and Junior and he was thrilled. He didn’t have a clue what to do with them and he is a bit of a butterfingers if I am honest. He hadn’t read the instructions and everyone in the Green Room at RTE was laughing at him. He got it in the end though and loved the product! In a nut shell, he is genuinely a lovely guy and without makeup, he is every bit as handsome as he is on screen. He was so mannerly and charming both on and off camera, simply delightful. So if you are sitting on the fence about Peter, as I was, you can cross over into the meadow of “We <3 Peter”.
